L&#8217;acido H<sub>3<\/sub>AlF<sub>6<\/sub> viene quindi convertito in sale di sodio per reazione allo scambio di ioni con una soluzione di cloruro di sodio. Dopo una separazione solido-liquido, il liquame della criolite viene calcincato in un forno rotante riscaldato internamente. Il prodotto finale \u00e8 sotto forma di granuli rosa pallido. La Criolite macinata si ottiene dalla qualit\u00e0 granulare dopo la fresatura
